REFINING

IQG refines primarily gold-based Dore from diverse mining companies and from jewellery scrap. After the fine metal content has been determined, the material is converted into anodes that are then positioned in electrolytic cells where the gold is separated from other elements. The electrolytic treatment results in the deposit of gold sponge in purities ranging between 99,99% and 99,999%. Once the gold's degree of purity has been accurately determined, the sponge is washed, dried and then transformed into a variety of products, including grain, bars, strips or other forms that our clients may request.

IQG Jewellery also produces a wide range of gold bullion bars which are refined up to 999.9 & 995 with the purities matching the demand from the market. All bars are subjected to accurate and precise inspections and weighing before they are packaged and dispatched.
